Yesterday, we joined UNIMAID and UNICEF in commemorating International Mother Language Day at a vibrant symposium held at Elkanemi Hall. The event brought together schoolchildren, traditional rulers, and key stakeholders to champion the importance of linguistic diversity and multilingual education During this event, cash prizes were awarded to three winners of the mother-language contest organised by CASFOD. Together, we called on Policy makers, development partners, teachers, parents and the community at large to prioritize multilingual education for effective communication and progressive learning.
