*SFI JNU condemns the arbitrary Fine Raj of the JNU administration* While continously citing lack of funds for restoring the crumbling infrastructure and increasing the amount for MCM scholarship, the administration has turned the campus into its carte blanche in the name of "discipline"! As provisioned by the draconian CPO manual, the authorities impose humongous fines on students at will. This arbitrariness amounts to no less than an attempt to stifle dissenting voices into silence and rejigging this campus into a flock of yes-men and lickspittles to the authorities. Moreover, the administration has promptly authorized the use of our academic premises by religious organizations like ISKCON while refusing to hold talks on pertinent geopolitical issues and humanitarian crises like Israel's war on Palestine- revealing clearly the direction they want to take JNU in. As the administration grows increasingly authoritarian, making no pains to hide their sycophancy to the RSS-BJP government, _*SFI JNU appeals to the students to recognize their hypocrisy and stand united against the assault on our freedom to dissent*_. *SFI JNU*
