I like it, therefore it must be okay. We fall into so many traps that become our comfort zones just because we like and pursue things that we should not be pursuing. It can the the wrong girl/guy just because of how they make you feel, or the wrong career just because it gives the life and income you want, the wrong church, just because it vibes a certain way and the wrong gifts just because they appear more glamorous or attract more attention. God does grant us the desires of our heart but only when those desires match your design and purpose (purpose - I need to preach on this so someone remind me). We are influenced by the flesh and its desires, which is influenced by what it sees and how certain things make it feel even if those things are killing it or harmful. You don't choose according to your learnt desires, you need to rather learn to connect with the desires that God had for you when He made you which can so easily be displaced when we substitute them for the flesh and its lusts. You need to sit with God and have a one on one conversation with Him asking Him, what do you want from me, how can I better serve you and do myself the honor of living a life worthy of Gods respect. Sit Reflect And decide according to that inner voice and drive that you've put off for too long. Reconnect
