Hare Krishna! Gargamuni was invited by Nanda Maharaja (Krishna’s foster father) to perform the naming ceremony of Krishna and Balarama. He revealed the divine nature of the two brothers and gave them their names: Krishna (meaning "all-attractive") and Rama (later known as Balarama, meaning "the source of spiritual strength").
