*Foreign Investors Return to Indian Markets as Tariff Fears Ease*
Foreign investors ended their month-long selling streak, investing ₹809 crore in Indian equities—the first positive FII flow since early January. This follows heavy outflows of over ₹2 lakh crore in the past four months, including ₹76,551 crore in January alone.
The recent rally in Indian markets, with indices rising over 1.6%, was fueled by the U.S. pausing tariffs on Mexico and Canada. While India's trade with the U.S. is smaller, Trump's readiness for negotiations suggests India may avoid heavy tariffs after talks.
