This practice is not sustainable at all and our beloved broadcaster should simply pay directly and on time to their service providers - the "independent producers" The surplus should also go towards refurbishment of all major referal hospitals in Zimbabwe (government and municipal) and mission hospitals. *INVESTMENTS* The balance of the surplus should go towards investments through mergers and acquisitions. *Merging* : Merging should consider engulfing other TV and radio stations not performing very well although its Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe (BAZ) Baby *Acquisitions* : OK Zimbabwe has contributed immensely to the Media fraternity through Promotions of the Gigantic, enormous, huge famous and popular OK Grand Challenge which roped in so many Local and International genuine, reputable and reliable Suppliers/manufacturers who made the yearly event tick. OK Zimbabwe is in dire need of Corporate Rescue and ZBC through radio licensing alone can assist by giving back to OK Corporate Social Responsibility. If properly funded OK Zimbabwe would be a genuine revenue centre for ZBC directly and indirectly.
