#livingwater Our words carry weight, more than we often realise. A single sentence can build or break, heal or harm, speak life or spread pain. That’s why David’s prayer in Psalm 141 is so powerful. He didn’t just ask God to help him “say the right thing.” He asked God to guard his mouth, like placing a soldier at a gate, watching over every word. Because sometimes, the most spiritual thing we can do… is say nothing. Or say it with more grace. Or not say it the way our emotions want to. When our hearts are surrendered, our tongues follow.
