Before the streaming era, an album was like R120 and if it's a classic, it would be like R300- R400 and a single would be sold around like R10-R25 at least... Now one song can sell from as little as R1.2 - R0. 78 and an album can be worth around R10 to 30bucks if you lucky🤣😂😂 I'm tryna say that streaming is cool but it's hell for artists, and we are slowly removing our music from it, I wanna be as big as Drake and Kendrick Lamar and be the first to say No more streaming, buy my shit, and obviously I would get hate but I would start a revolution, a Lotta artists would follow me after that.. Plus they would also see the value in going directly to the customer.. I used to love Spotify, most of my royalties came from there but now it's just an evil system in my eyes that takes and gives less back to the people who make it popular and rich..
