22 May 2025 This beautiful verse from Bhagavad Gita 13.2 is like Krishna gently pulling Arjuna aside and whispering a cosmic secret : “This body is the field (kshetram), Arjuna. And you — the conscious witness — are the knower of the field (kshetragna).”Now why is this such a joy-giver? Because it flips your whole self-image! We spend our lives polishing the body, worrying about wrinkles, calories, opinions, and whatnot — like a farmer obsessing over the fence and forgetting the field. But Krishna comes along and says: “Dear Arjuna, you’re not the field, you’re the knower of the field — eternal, aware, untouched.” So what’s the punch line? You are not this body that ages, aches, or breaks. You are the ever-shining knower behind it — free, silent, blissful, like the sun watching clouds float by. Even on a bad hair day… you’re still divine!
