28 May 2025 In Chapter 13, Verses 8–12, Krishna redefines knowledge — jñānam — as a set of 20 inner values like humility, non-violence, and self-restraint. These are not just moral ideals, but essential preparations for Self-realization. Real transformation begins when we consciously cultivate these qualities. They purify the mind, reduce ego, and sharpen clarity. Krishna calls them “knowledge” because living them leads to true understanding — not just intellectual, but experiential. Change doesn’t start with information, but with intention and disciplined action. Through these values, the mind is refined, and the path to inner freedom opens.
