*Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Address to the Nation regarding Operation Sindoor post the Anti-Hindu Pahalgam Terrorist Attack* [Press Release | PIB India | 12th May 2025] In his address to the nation, Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, made the following remarks with long-term policy consequences, given the 'Baseline Shift' vis-à-vis India's approach to Terror State Pakistan, by calling out the Nuclear Blackmail/Bluff, 'Operation Sindoor' as template and State Policy against terrorist attacks, and no differentiation between terrorist infrastructure and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan's state backing. The statement included the following remarks having state policy consequences - 1. Today, every terrorist knows the consequences of wiping Sindoor from the foreheads of our sisters and daughters 2. Operation Sindoor is an unwavering pledge for justice 3. Terrorists dared to wipe the Sindoor from the foreheads of our sisters; that's why India destroyed the very headquarters of terror 4. Pakistan had prepared to strike at our borders, but India hit them right at their core 5. Operation Sindoor has redefined the fight against terror, setting a new benchmark, a new normal 6.
