What if what’s limiting you is not your circumstances, not other people, not how you were raised, but how you see yourself? What would happen if your vision cleared and you started seeing yourself for who you really are: a son, a daughter of the Most High God? You have greatness in you. You were created to reign in life, to be healthy, strong, confident, valuable, to accomplish dreams, to overcome obstacles. Get rid of that grasshopper image and see yourself the way God sees you. Maybe you went through a breakup or a divorce. You’re hurting; you’re lonely. God is not finished. He’s not going to leave you depressed and heartbroken. He has someone amazing coming. You’re going to be happier, more fulfilled than you’ve ever been. Don’t judge the rest of your life by one difficult season. You may be in a time of struggle, a time of loss, a time when things aren't fair. Thoughts will tell you, “It’s never going to change. This is your lot in life; just accept it.” Don’t believe those lies. God promised He will make all things beautiful. Now here’s the key: just give Him some time.
