Pleasure to meet Pita Limjaroenrat — Thailand’s most popular young leader and former head of the Move Forward Party — at the Asian Leadership Conference. In 2023, Pita led his party to a stunning victory in Thailand’s general elections, winning the highest number of seats and overwhelming support from voters. He was the people’s choice for Prime Minister. But due to political manoeuvring - including resistance from the Senate - he was blocked from taking office.
