**Fully-funded Ph.D. Opportunities in Power Electronics**

Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Michigan-Dearborn is seeking highly motivated PhD students to join our research group under the supervision of Dr. Mengqi (Maggie) Wang. Prof. Wang's research focuses on Power Electronics with a strong emphasis on applications in Electric Vehicles (EVs).

Looking for students with a strong academic background and a passion for advancing the state-of-the-art in power electronic systems. Students will work on projects involving advanced converter topologies, wide-bandgap device applications, control techniques for power electronic systems, and integration of power electronics into EV powertrains.
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (or a closely related
field)
- GPA ≥ 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
- Coursework and/or project experience in power electronics
Preferred Qualifications:
- M.S. degree with a focus on power electronics
- Experience with hardware prototyping, simulation tools (e.g.,
MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, LTspice), and control systems
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
