Diagnosed with cancer at age 14, Blessed faced immense adversity, his condition disrupting not only his physical health but also his education as he could no longer write. His family's financial constraints hampered their ability to provide the necessary treatment, and Blessed found himself stuck in a devastating limbo for several years. But, as fate would have it, a ray of light broke through the darkness on January 11 when Discovery Ambulance Services conducted a medical outreach at Beit Hall in Sakubva. Recognizing Blessed’s urgent need for intervention, the team fast-tracked him for assistance through the PEMS program, eventually leading to the successful surgical procedure.
