The Defeated Enemy The Devil, though formidable in appearance, is already defeated. His supposed power over humanity stems from the ignorance and disobedience of mankind, which has given him a foothold. However, as Soldiers of Christ, we know the truth: the Devil is powerless against those who stand firm in faith. Despite his intimidating facade, the Devil is a defeated foe. The Bible warns us that he "prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour" (1 Peter 5:8), but this is merely a ruse. In reality, he is a loser, unable to stand against the power of God. We are not afraid of the Devil's threats or intimidations. We know that we have been given "a spirit not of fear, but of power and of love and of self-discipline" (2 Timothy 1:7). With this assurance, we stand firm in our faith, defending our spiritual territory against the enemy's attacks. We will not be swayed by the Devil's roars or deterred from our mission. Instead, we will continue to stand strong, knowing that the devil cannot withstand the power of God within us (Kingdom Outpost International Goal 2024 - 2073). As the Bible declares, "The one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world" (1 John 4:4). As Soldiers of Christ, we recognize the Devil's defeat and his lack of true power over us. With unwavering confidence in God's power and love, we stand firm against the enemy's attacks, knowing that we are more than conquerors through Christ. We will not yield to fear or intimidation, but will continue to advance in faith, empowered by the Holy Spirit.
