The terminal's modern infrastructure allows the port to accommodate ultra-large vessels, including the world's largest container ship, MSC Turkiye, which docked at Kribi on May 8. The $400 billion project, financed 75% by Eximbank of China, has enhanced the port's capabilities and positioned Kribi as a major hub in sub-Saharan Africa.
