A nation void of peace is a nation that has fallen apart with a center that cannot hold and a nation that grapples with just *barest* percentage of its peace and focusing on its past glories becomes a mere shadow of itself. Cameroon the land of promise and glory will in a couple of days celebrate the 53rd anniversary of its unity, precisely on May 20. Citizens via this year’s theme are enjoined to look beyond the usual March past but rather focus on the inevitable role of the army and the people in the implementation of peace and prosperity in the country. Cameroon is a blessed nation endowed with uncountable natural resources, and these resources can only be fully exploited for the benefit of its people if peace is given a chance.
