This video reminded me of how my parents stopped me from sucking my fingers 😂😭. There was a police checkpoint near our house, just before a bridge. One Friday, we were heading to an all-night vigil at our church, which was far from our home and we need to trek some distance. As we approached the checkpoint, I hid behind my dad because I was terrified of the police. Oh! I hated their black uniforms! 😂 My dad left my front, but I kept hiding behind him. Then, my mom handed me over to the police officer! 🙈 I thought it was the end of the world! My mom explained to the officer how they'd tried everything to break my finger-sucking habit, but nothing worked. The officer threatened to shoot me if I sucked my fingers again! 😂 In my mind 'Oga, shoot me now!' 😂 The officer told my mom to bring me back anytime she caught me sucking my fingers, and my parents agreed.
