🇲🇪 Eid Prayers at 300 year old destroyed mosque in Montenegro Muslims in the Sandžak region in the Balkans hosted Eid prayers on top of the ruins of a mosque destroyed by British bombing in WW2 and later by the Communists. Despite attempts ro remove any signs of the mosque, recent excavation projects revealed the ruins. While the Montenegro government in the city of Bijelopolje repeatedly refused a pledge for its reconstruction, they nevertheless have permitted Eid prayers.
