Episode E #atozofglobalflavours, an adventure where every letter serves up something delicious from around the world. We are making Eru from Cameroon 🇨🇲 today. Eru is very similar to Afang soup in that they share the same ingredients but the method is slightly different. In Eru soup, the Eru leaves (also known as Afang or Okazi) are thinly sliced and used as is while in Afang soup, not only are the leaves sliced thinly, they are further pounded to almost a paste. They are both really delicious but I think I prefer Afang soup because it is not as dry as Eru. Just my personal preference. Which would you rather eat Eru or Afang?
