🔆 One Stop Centre Scheme 📍 About: ✅ The One Stop Centre Scheme is a subscheme under the National Mission for Empowerment of Women. ✅ It has been implemented since 1st April 2015, under the Indira Gandhi Matritav Sahyog Yojana. 📍 Key Objectives: ✅ Provide holistic and integrated support to women who have experienced violence. ✅ Ensure immediate access to services like medical, legal, psychological, and counseling support. ✅ Address gender-based violence in both private and public spheres. 📍 Targeted Beneficiaries: ✅ Women and girls (below 18 years) who have experienced any form of violence. ✅ All women, regardless of caste, class, religion, region, sexual orientation, or marital status. 📍 Funding Mechanism: ✅ Centrally Sponsored Scheme with 100% financial assistance provided by the Central Government through the Nirbhaya Fund. 📍 Features: ✅ Comprehensive Services include emergency response, medical assistance, FIR/NCR/DIR filing, legal aid, shelter, and more. ✅ Universal Reach: Available to all women, including minors, with special provisions for minors in collaboration with child protection laws.
