When Anasuya Sarma was born with Down Syndrome, her parents had more questions than answers.
Would she find her voice? Her confidence? A path of her own?
19 years later, she isn’t just answering those questions. She’s rewriting them.
It started with a lemonade stand in her garage, where she counted coins, served neighbours, and quietly built confidence.
Then came a spark: Anasuya’s love for lipsticks. She was fascinated by their colours and textures. Her mother didn’t dismiss it — she nurtured it.
Together, they turned their kitchen into a tiny lab. Failed batches, late nights, YouTube tutorials — nothing stopped them. Slowly, their experiments turned into a formula. That’s how Lovebird was born.
Today, she carries her business cards in her purse, tracks orders with the help of Excel sheets, and beams when she talks about her products.
“I have my own business. I’m the CEO,” she once told a relative. And she meant every word.
