This evening, I did a mini outreach. A brother asked me how he could make ends meet financially, and I told him to start with honesty. Honesty not only sets a person free from addiction but also transforms other areas of life, bringing incredible rewards. With another brother, I shared a truth that changed my own life: it's impossible to have an encounter with God and remain the same. Bad habits fall away, life becomes more peaceful, and the change is undeniable to those around you. As we talked, they smoked their blunts, and I shared my story. I told them how, at one point, it seemed impossible to be sober in that kind of environment. I spoke about how God completely removed my desire to drink and how, even after I got sober, I entered the world of rapping; surrounded by alcohol but never touching a drop. Passing it on to the next person, that’s my passion. I told another brother that every level comes with different devils and reminded him that daily discipline is essential. He understood exactly what I meant. These are the ways I sometimes spend my evenings, pouring into others unconditionally. Sharing the wisdom, insights, and revelations I’ve been graced to receive.
