Where are Covid cases rising in India? 🦠 According to Health Ministry data from June 1, #kerala continues to report the highest number of active Covid cases at 1,336, followed by #maharashtra (467), #delhi (375), #gujarat (265), #karnataka (234) and #westbengal (205). Kerala also saw the sharpest daily rise with 189 new cases. West Bengal added 89, Karnataka 86, and Delhi 81. #uttarpradesh reported 117 active cases, with a 75-case increase. Tamil Nadu recorded 185 cases, up by 37, while Maharashtra saw a rise of 43. Other notable increases were in #gujarat (+42), #rajasthan (+9), #madhyapradesh (+6), #puducherry (+6) and #jharkhand (+6). States with fewer cases include #uttarakhand (2), #assam (2), #mizoram (2) and #chandigarh (1). #sikkim reported zero active cases. No data was available for Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Tripura, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Ladakh.
