🤔 Kirinyaga Woman Representative Njeri Maina sponsors the The Health Ammendment Bill, Bill No. 56 of 2024, a bill that seeks to criminalise the detention of dead bodies by hospital over non-payment of medical bills.
Njeri said the bill, which was read for the first time, addresses instances where families are unable to pay for medical bills.
