*Lavender Festival 2025 was inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister DrJitendraSingh, Vice President, CSIR, at Bhaderwah, J&K—India’s lavender heartland.* Organized by *CSIR-IIIM*, the 2-day festival celebrated the remarkable strides of the Purple Revolution, a movement that has taken root largely due to the Hon'ble Minister's tireless leadership, vision, and sustained guidance. The event featured lavender field visits, live distillation demos, and buyer-seller interactions—empowering farmers and agri-startups and showcasing the transformative impact of lavender cultivation.
