May 17th, 2025 "Touch Not My Anointed" Psalm 105:14-15 (ESV) "He allowed no one to oppress them; he rebuked kings on their account, saying, 'Touch not my anointed ones, do my prophets no harm!'" Reflection God protected the Israelites in the wilderness, calling them His anointed and prophets. As believers, we are also under God's unwavering protection and care. Key Points 1. _Divine Protection_: As anointed ones in Christ, God shields us. 2. _Authority Over All_: We are under His authority, and even kings are held accountable. 3. _Special Care_: Prophets and anointed ones are under God's protection. Application 1. _Trust God's Protection_: Believe in His care, evident in your life like the pillar of cloud and fire. 2. _Respect God's Anointed_: Honor those God has chosen (2 Chronicles 20:20b). 3. _Seek God's Defense_: Turn to Him first in times of trouble, not as a last resort.
