Let God Be Your Validation May 23, 2025. Psalm 118:8-9 (NIV) "It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans. It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes." Reflection When we let God be our validation, we find true security and self-worth. Unlike human opinions, God's love and acceptance are steadfast and unchanging. Key Points 1. _Limitations of Human Validation_: Human opinions can be flawed and changeable. 2. _God's Unwavering Love_: God's love and acceptance are constant and reliable. 3. _Trusting God's Validation_: Finding security and worth in God's eyes. Application 1. _Seek God's Approval_: Prioritize God's validation over human opinions. Man's validation changes like the weather! 2. _Trust in God’s Sovereignty_: Recognize God's control and wisdom in your life. God's opinion of you is more constant than the northern star! Find your value and self worth in Him. Don't make a man's appraisal, acceptance or rejection the measure of your self worth. 3. _Find your Identity in Christ_: Base your self-worth on God's love and acceptance. In Christ Jesus you are blessed and enabled (Ephesians 1:3, Philippians 4:13). Prayer Dear Heavenly Father, help me trust in You and find my validation in Your love.
