✍️ Regarding the recent statements of condemnation from European countries:
This is the Western Machiavellianism in managing savagery and colonial brutality.
When colonial powers become deeply entangled in their sadism and bloodshed, and when public opinion turns hostile to their colonial project, they resort to playing the “hawks and doves” card. That is, some politicians from these colonial states step forward to criticize current policies, branding them as “hawkish.”
But this political deception is, in reality, a means of absolving the criminal colonial state itself; and whitewashing the nature of colonialism, which is inherently savage and bloody.
They deflect blame from the system as a whole, portraying current brutality as the result of a few extremist politicians, even framing them as outliers violating the “true” laws and principles of the colonial state.
This Machiavellian method of managing brutality has become a fixed strategy, a built-in component of colonial governance.
Take, for example, what happened after George W. Bush and his crusade-style wars. Once American savagery became a burden on the state’s image, Barack Obama was brought in to patch things up. He was marketed as a “dove”, and his speeches in Cairo and Ankara were part of this colonial Machiavellianism, meant to restore America’s image without changing its core behavior.
As for the Zionist entity, it is fundamentally a Western outpost, part and parcel of the colonial Western system. It employs the same colonial tools and strategies, tailored for its local context.
So when voices rise today criticizing the ongoing savagery and barbarism in Gaza, but limit the blame to Netanyahu alone, this is precisely the Machiavellian deception, an attempt to absolve the Zionist entity as a whole, portraying it as a victim of bad leadership rather than as an inherently colonial, oppressive system.
