*THE REFRESHING MERCY _that Sustains You_*
Matt 11:28-30
_*"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."*_

_*Repent therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord"*_

*INTRODUCTION*
The Refreshing Mercy of God is a source of spiritual rejuvenation and renewal. As you engage in today's endeavours, it will offer you rest, peace, and comfort in the midst of life's challenges and uncertainties.
In the process of fulfilling your endeavours today, it is only natural that you may get tired, weary and worn-out. Besides the spiritual benefits of this this type of mercy, you will also experience the benefits physically, psychologically, socially and in all your endeavours; revitalizing your spirits, restoring your storehouse, your energy, finances, joy, and passion for life and ministry. Expect the manifestation of Divine Restorative Mercy today.
*CHARACTERS*
*1. Elijah*
- *Refreshment in solitude*: _(1 Kings 19:1-18)_ After a great victory, Elijah felt exhausted and overwhelmed. God provided him refreshment through sleep, food, and gentle communication.
- *Renewal*: Elijah's experience taught him the importance of taking time to rest and recharge in God's presence.
*2. David*
- *Finding rest in God*: _(Psalm 23, Psalm 62)_ David's psalms often express his desire for rest and refreshment in God's presence.
- *Trust and surrender*: David's trust in God's mercy allowed him to find rest and peace, even in turbulent times.
*3. Peter*
- *Refocused for Kingdom Service:* Peter experienced God's Refreshing Mercy when Jesus restored him to ministry after his denial and failure.
