*MDL _~MY DAILY LIGHT Reflections_* SATURDAY, 31st MAY *IN SUMMARY* _*"Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."* Heb 4:16_ As we conclude this month's theme, "Obtaining More Mercy," we've explored the multifaceted nature of God's mercy through Jesus Christ. We've discovered that mercy is a fundamental aspect of God's character, encompassing kindness, forgiveness, and compassion when we don't deserve it. *REFLECTIONS* We've explored, reflected on and obtained the thirty one types of mercies under these four key categories: 1. *Judicial Mercy*: God's mercy in withholding punishment or penalty, often due to repentance or faith (Psalm 51:1-2, Bible Character: David). 2. *Sustaining Mercy*: God's mercy in providing for our needs, protecting us from harm, and giving us strength in times of weakness (Psalm 23:4, Bible Character: David). 3. *Healing Mercy*: God's mercy in healing our physical, emotional, and spiritual wounds (Psalm 103:2-3, Bible Character: David). 4. *Redemptive Mercy*: God's mercy in redeeming us from sin, Satan, and death, offering us eternal life through Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:4-5, Bible Character: Paul). *KEY TAKEAWAYS* - Mercy means receiving kindness, forgiveness, and compassion when we don't deserve it. - We can experience God's mercy by seeking forgiveness, trusting in His sustaining power, receiving healing and restoration, and embracing His redemptive love. - We can extend mercy to others by showing kindness, forgiving others, being patient and understanding, and reflecting God's love and care. *FINAL PRAYERS* Heavenly Father, I thank You for bringing me to the end of this month.
