Police recovered 20 stolen mobile phones at the Madaraka Day celebrations in Homa Bay after a DCI-led operation targeting suspects who had snatched devices from attendees.
The operation followed multiple complaints from victims and was made possible through joint efforts between law enforcement and members of the public.
The arrested suspects are in custody, and DCI has urged those who lost their phones to report to Homa Bay Police Station to reclaim their belongings.
