A young Kenyan author, Webster Ochora Elijah, is currently held at Muthaiga Police Station following his arrest by DCI detectives over allegations of identity theft linked to his recent publication "Beyond the Name: Charlene Ruto and the Youth Uprising" which authorities claim violated the Computer Misuse and Cybercrime Act by allegedly misrepresenting or unlawfully appropriating the identity of the First Daughter.
Forensic experts are combing through his laptop in search of digital evidence and he is expected to be arraigned in court on Tuesday.
