*Job Title: Field Engineer (Fiber Optic)* Are you a skilled fiber optic professional looking to be part of a dynamic telecom engineering team? We are looking for an experienced and driven Field Engineer (Fiber Optic) to join our fast-growing operations. This role will be responsible for on-site fiber optic installations, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance to support the delivery of high-performance network infrastructure. *Key Responsibilities* • Perform installation, splicing, and termination of fiber optic cables. • Conduct OTDR, power meter, and light source testing for fiber link verification. • Read and interpret network design maps, schematics, and documentation. • Troubleshoot fiber breaks, signal loss, and connectivity issues in the field. • Ensure adherence to safety standards, engineering specifications, and customer requirements. • Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure timely delivery of fieldwork. • Maintain accurate records of site visits, test results, and network updates. *Requirements* • 3–5 years of experience in fiber optic network deployment or maintenance. • Proficiency in fiber splicing and testing using OTDR and related tools. • Solid understanding of FTTx, GPON, and fiber transmission technologies. • Ability to work independently in diverse environments (urban, rural, underground, aerial). • Strong problem-solving and communication skills. • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to field locations. • Preferred Qualifications • Certification in Fiber Optic Installation or Testing (e.g., FOA, CFOT). • Experience working on backhaul and metro fiber infrastructure projects. • Familiarity with telecom safety protocols and quality assurance standards. *Why Join Us?* Competitive salary package.
