Today is Snana Yatra, the sacred ceremonial bathing ceremony of Sri Jagannath, Baladev and Subhadra Maiya. This auspicious day is observed on the full moon day (Purnima) of the Jyeshtha month. This day is also said to be the appearance day of Lord Jagannath. Devotees celebrate this day with great joy and devotion.
