*KEY ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE*
We are looking for a results-driven and charismatic Key Accounts Executive to manage and grow key client relationships, drive sales initiatives, and ensure excellent customer experience across designated key accounts. This role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills to optimize sales performance and contribute to the overall growth of the business.
*Key Responsibilities:*
• Build and maintain trust-based relationships with Key Account clients.
• Conduct regular route accompaniments (at least 3 times weekly) and submit detailed reports.
• Ensure achievement of sales targets across Beer, RTDs, and Spirits for all Key Accounts.
• Upsell and cross-sell to maximize profitability within assigned accounts.
• Ensure customer feedback and complaints are promptly addressed.
• Conduct regular sales team meetings, review performance, and suggest improvements.
• Monitor and ensure effective use of Diageo 1 app across all Key Accounts.
• Conduct training sessions for the sales team to improve capabilities and outcomes.
• Analyze Retail vs. Stockist sales on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Develop and execute a strategic sales and marketing plan aligned to company goals.
• Plan and manage resources and budgets for key outlets efficiently.
• Prepare and share quarterly Market Analysis Reports (industry trends, competitive insights).
• Submit monthly competition analysis reports and provide actionable insights.
• Provide regular feedback from retailers to the management team.
• Align quarterly events calendar with the Company’s core business objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in distribution or key account management.
• Proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales targets.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of active driving experience.
• Fluent in English and Kiswahili (spoken and written).
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with DMS platforms and mobile sales apps is an added advantage.
