The Department of Cardiology and Vascular Surgery at Kasr Al Ainy has officially been accredited by the Heart Failure Association (HFA), a division of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), as a certified centre for the management and treatment of heart failure. This prestigious designation places Kasr Al Ainy among a select group of institutions worldwide—only 14 countries affiliated with the ESC currently hold this status. It further underscores the hospital’s longstanding reputation as a leading hub of specialised care, advanced research, and medical education in the region.
