The Executive Secretary of the Mining Commission, Engineer Ramadhani M. Lwamo, has officially invited all stakeholders in the mining sector to attend the 4th Mining Local Content Compliance Forum (LCCF 2025), set to take place from June 16 to June 18, 2025, at Malaika Beach Resort in Mwanza.
This year’s forum will be held under the theme: “Increased Local Participation in the Mining Industry: A Catalyst for Tanzania’s Economic Growth.”
The LCCF 2025 aims to bring together key players from the government, private sector, civil society, and development partners to review progress, share experiences, and strengthen strategies for promoting local content in Tanzania’s mining sector.
He emphasized the importance of local participation in harnessing the full potential of the mining industry to drive national development.
He called on mining companies, service providers, investors, policymakers, and the public to actively engage in this year’s discussions.
“The forum provides a platform for constructive dialogue and collaboration to ensure Tanzanians benefit more from their mineral resources,” said Eng. Lwamo.
