📢 FMG Interns Face Unfair Demands at Symbiosis Medical College for Women, Pune FMG interns at SMCW, Pune are being forced to pay ₹18,000 for a course called SYMMED, which only includes basic presentations on dressing and patient care. When students protested and showed an MMC letter stating FMGs can’t be charged for internships, the college allegedly *threatened to withhold completion certificates.* They’re already paid just ₹5,000 as stipend (compared to ₹12,000 for IMGs), and now this ₹18K will be deducted from that small amount.
