*Ongoing Exhibition and Future Plans
A permanent exhibition showcasing books, particularly those on Sudan and South Sudan, is open at the African Organization for Rights and Development headquarters in Kampala.
*Given the success of this initial event, plans are underway to organize a second cultural week. The goal of this upcoming event is to empower Sudanese refugees, enabling them to participate in cultural activities and programs.
*Acknowledging Participation and Looking Ahead
Sincere thanks are extended to everyone who helped organize and attended the Kampala Cultural Week. The significant attendance and active involvement were crucial to the week's success and served as a strong motivation to consider hosting a second week. This next event is planned for one of Uganda's largest Sudanese refugee camps, aiming to allow a greater number of Sudanese refugees to engage in cultural activities and discuss vital issues related to war, peace, and human rights.
*Additionally, a monthly seminar in Kampala has been decided upon, dedicated to discussing various national issues. Forums will also be established to address the concerns of Sudanese refugees in Kampala.
