Happy to receive a delegation from Embraer led by the Brazilian Ambassador HE Kenneth Nóbrega. I recalled my visit to the Aerospace company’s manufacturing plant in Brazil when I served as India’s ambassador to Brazil from January 2006 to June 2008 and also inspecting one of their smaller planes suited for India during Wings India 2020 in Hyderabad as India’s Civil Aviation Minister. I congratulated them on the announcement of Embraer's subsidiary in India and the establishment of their corporate office in New Delhi. During our interaction I encouraged them to participate in PM Sh Narendra Modi Ji’s visionary and ever expanding Make in India initiative.
