💦RAND WATER PLANNED MAINTENANCE🛠️ Ekurhuleni will be affected by the planned maintenance by Rand Water at their various water facilities. The water utility has indicated that the objective of the maintenance is to achieve an improved plant availability, reliability and efficiencies. While work is carried out, different areas in Ekurhuleni will be affected. 🔹29 May - 2 June - tie-in of pipeline from Zuikerbosch station (102 hours) 🔸3 June - Klipriviersberg isolation for cleaning and inspection (10 hours) 🔸3 June - Russel Road meter installation (12 hours) 💦🚚🚛 Water tankers will service areas where there is no water. ‼️NOTE: ↪️Residents are urged to store water for domestic use. ↪️Businesses and institutions are encouraged to maintain on-site storage that is equivalent to their day demand or at least up to 36 hours.
