‼️WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTIONS PERSIST IN SOME AREAS DUE TO GRADUAL RECOVERY FROM RAND WATER MAINTENANCE💦 Some areas are still experiencing water supply interruptions due to the reservoir storage levels that dropped during the Rand Water maintenance. Though water supply has been restored in many areas, high-lying areas are experiencing a gradual recovery, which may last for a period of about two weeks. Some of the areas that are still experiencing water supply interruptions: ⏭️Kempton Park: 💧Spartan; 💧Cresslawn; and 💧Birchleigh. ⏭️Germiston 🔹Germiston CBD; Makause; 🔹Germiston Industrial; 🔹Lambton; 🔹Elsburg; 🔹Delville; and 🔹Tedstoneville. ⏭️Daveyton ▪️Etwatwa; ▪️Emaphupheni; ▪️Mandela; and ▪️Mkgoba. ⏭️Tsakani ▫️Langaville; ▫️Geluksdal; and ▫️Withok. ⏭️KwaThema/Springs ⏺️Wright Park; ⏺️Pollak Park; ⏺️Dal Fouche; ⏺️New State; and ⏺️Parklands. ‼️NB: The list is not exhaustive, and some areas that were affected by the Rand Water maintenance or areas closer to the above-mentioned may also be experiencing water supply interruptions due to the gradual nature of recovery of supply. 🚚Water tankers continue to service affected areas.
