The Minister for Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande, attended the Rabat Process Thematic Meeting on Youth, Innovation, and Migration in Abuja today. He emphasized the importance of recognizing youth as key partners in development, rather than viewing them solely as vulnerable population. Olawande highlighted the need for investments in platforms that promote skills development, entrepreneurship, digital inclusion, and cross-border collaboration, as well as the creation of opportunities for safe and legal migration. He also called for policies that empower youth to thrive in their communities and contribute meaningfully on a global scale. The Minister emphasized the commitment of the ministry of youth development to advancing migration policies that provide young people with opportunities to create sustainable solutions.
