The South African economy grew by *0,1% in Q1:2025*. Agriculture drove most of the upward momentum in Q1:2025. Agriculture lifted the primary sector in Q1:2025. There was increased economic activity reported in horticulture and animal products. All three industries in the secondary sector contracted in Q1:2025.
