*Say hello to our New Mayor* ​🎉 Cllr Anjana Patel has been appointed as the new Mayor of Harrow. At the special Mayor Making ceremony held at annual council last night, Thursday 15 May, she received the Mayoral Robe and Chain from the outgoing Mayor Cllr Salim Chowdhury. Her theme is kindness, caring and respect for people and the borough. She is committed to bringing communities together and helping those in need. It’s the special year as she will also be involved in the borough’s 60th anniversary. Rupesh Patel, was appointed Consort to the Mayor, and Cllr Yogesh Teli has been appointed Deputy Mayor.
