This exciting role will focus on: ✅ 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝟑𝐃 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐬 including hepatic and intestinal organoids and precision-cut liver slices. ✅ 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥-𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬 and their role in inflammation, toxicity, and fibrosis. ✅ 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 at the interface of hepatology, microbiology, plastic pollution, toxicology, and environmental science. With growing concern over MNP accumulation in human tissues and their potential to act as ‘𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐬’ for pathogens and toxins, this project is at the forefront of translational research in 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞. 💡 We’re looking for a 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭-𝐝𝐨𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭 with 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬-𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝟑𝐃 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐬, particularly 𝐡𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐧𝐝/𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐢𝐝𝐬, and 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬.
