How to follow up on a potential customer!
You sent a proposal.
They seemed interested.
Then... silence.
Now you’re wondering: Should I follow up?
The answer is “yes” but “how” you follow up matters.
Here’s a simple framework to follow up without being pushy:
📌 Lead with value:
Don’t just ask, “Have you decided?” Instead, offer something helpful: a case study, testimonial, or new insight related to their needs.
📌 Be polite but clear
Example: “Hi John, just checking in to see if you had any questions about the proposal I sent. I’d be happy to clarify anything you need.”
📌 Set a gentle deadline
“If I don’t hear from you by Friday, I’ll assume the timing isn’t right and we can reconnect later.”
📌 Stay top of mind= Even if they don’t respond immediately, continue sharing valuable content on your page. They’re watching.
Remember: Follow-up isn’t pestering, it’s a sign of professionalism and persistence.
Sometimes, the sale happens on the 5th or 7th follow-up.
