Refugees of non-Syrian descent have faced immense hardships, with many forced to sleep in the streets outside the October branch for months, even before the closure of the Zamalek office exacerbated the situation. Is this the standard of service provided by UNHCR in Egypt? Is discrimination among refugees still based on nationality? If UNHCR cannot treat all refugees equally in its communications and statements, how can it claim to represent the voice of all refugees?
